Manchester United host Premier League newcomers Norwich on Saturday looking to bounce back from their mid-week draw with Basel. The Premier League champions threw away a two goal lead against the Swiss side before Ashley Young saved the Red Devils’ blushes and they will be keen to maintain their perfect home league record this weekend.
Danny Welbeck is in contention after scoring twice in mid-week whilst Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez are both available after injury. James Vaughan will be out for several months after suffering a recurrent knee injury against Sunderland whilst Zak Whitbread (hamstring), Elliot Ward (knee) and Daniel Ayala (knee) remain on the long-term absentee list.
