David Moyes’ side did not play last weekend as their encounter with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane was postponed due to the London riots. The history is against Everton, having registered just two victories in eight Premier League meetings against QPR and losing five. Everton are notoriously slow starters but finished seventh last season and will be keen to improve on that this time around.Everton have been boosted by the return of Mikel Arteta from a foot injury and the Spaniard is likely to take his place on the bench. Seamus Coleman is still injured however after damaging his ankle ligaments in pre-season whilst Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is suspended.

QPR Pre-Match Report
QPR resumed life in the top-flight on a note of disappointment as they lost 4-0 to Bolton Wanderers at Loftus Road. The recent takeover of Tony Fernandes has given the fans optimism however that transfer funds will be given to boss Neil Warnock. They lost just four times on the road last season and will be looking to take that form into the new season.QPR will have to do without the services of Clint Hill who is suspended after his dismissal against Bolton last week and summer signing Kieron Dyer is also missing after injuring his foot last week. Striker Jamie Mackie is continuing his recovery from a broken leg and fellow striker Rob Hulse has a knee problem.
