10. Kwon Sang-woo (Korean: 권상우, born August 5, 1976 in Daejeon, South Korea) is a South Korean actor. Prior to acting, he worked as a model. Kwon was made known to Asian countries through his popular movie, My Tutor Friend (2003), but it was his character as Cha Song Joo in Stairway to Heaven alongside Choi Ji Woo that boosted his popularity, especially in Asian countries, as Stairway to Heaven was amongst the most popular Korean dramas in the Asian region. Another popular role was in Once Upon a Time in High School, set in the 1970s, highlighting the authoritarian nature of Korean society at the time.

9. Bae Yong-joon (born August 29, 1972 in Seoul, South Korea), is a South Korean actor best known for his roles in numerous television dramas. He is also known as the abbreviated BYJ to many of his fans, or as Yon-sama (ヨン様). Bae became world-famous as his next dramatic role, Winter Sonata, despite the fact that it was a TV drama and not a movie, razed all of Japan with as much as 20% of the country watching it. This popularity gave both Bae and his co-star Choi Ji-woo a chance to shift their main stage from Korea to Japan. Other Korean movies and dramas also became quite popular following the Winter Sonata craze. Bae's role as Kang Jun-sang in Winter Sonata made him the main spotlight of the Korean Wave.

8. Jang Dong-gun (born March 7, 1972) is a South Korean actor and musician. Spending his childhood in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, he later went on to the Korea National University of Arts, dropping out before obtaining a degree. He made his debut in the MBC drama Our Heaven. Winning Actor Award in the Blue Dragon Awards again for his role as the dedicated cop in Nowhere to Hide. In 2000, he starred in the film Friend, which at the time was the highest grossing Korean film of all time. Jang gained widespread critical acclaim for his portrayal of a troubled high school student who joins the mafia, paving the way for him to star in the 2004 Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War, about the Korean War, which again shattered box office records. His portrayal of one of two brothers drafted into the war earned him a third Blue dragon award.

7. Dennis Joseph O'Neil, known professionally as Dennis Oh in South Korea, is a Korean-American actor. He began his career in the South Korean entertainment industry by modeling in TV commercials; eventually, he was cast in the drama Sweet Spy in 2005 by producer Ko Dong-seon. In an interview, Ko stated that his wife recommended the actor to him after seeing a cell phone commercial that featured O'Neil. The commercial featured O'Neil as the Vitruvian Man; due to this commercial, O'Neil earned the nicknames of "Living David" and "Walking Statue". In the drama, he appears as a mysterious spy, Han Yoo-il, who falls in love with an ordinary female police officer. The actor became a visible star due to the popularity of his "homme fatal" character. O'Neil was also featured in the music video for "바람만바람만", a single by Kim Jong Kook & SG Wannabe, along with Han Ga-in. His next drama was Witch Yoo Hee, which aired in spring 2007. Taking on the role of a famous French chef named Johnny Kruger, he was partnered again with Han Gai-in. This role required that O'Neil speak in Korean, which was a challenge for the American-born actor. In 2008, he was in the drama East of Eden, playing Mike Packer, a successor of a Hong Kong and Macao tycoon who is in love with Gook Young Ran, or Grace as he calls her (played by Lee Yun Hee).

5. Kim Hyun Joong (born June 6, 1986) is a South Korean male singer, actor and leader of boyband SS501. In the hit drama series, Boys Over Flowers, he plays Yoon Ji Hoo. The series was a huge media and ratings sensation in Korea during its run from January to March 2009, garnering a huge amount of popularity for the entertainer. Along with his bandmates, Kim is preparing SS501's new Korean album, for which each member will be doing a solo. Their Asia Concert Tour began in mid-August 2009. On September 2009, during promotions in Japan for Boys Over Flowers, Kim Hyun Joong was diagnosed with H1N1. Currently recovering from H1N1, Kim Hyun Joong could not attend Seoul's International Drama Awards. To accept the award on his behalf, his members of SS501, Heo Young Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong and Kim Hyung Joon were present for the award show.

Lee Min Ho (Korean: 이민호) is a South Korean actor who is best known for his leading role as the leader of F4, Goo Jun Pyo, in the Korean adaptation of the popular manga series, Hana Yori Dango, titled Boys Over Flowers, in 2009. He started his career in 2006 since then has been cast in various TV shows, short dramas and minor movie roles.
